The Yucca Valley High School Music Department is a comprehensive music program at the secondary level.
Performing Groups include: the "Trojan" Marching Band, "Sunsations" Drill Team, Concert Choir, Select Choir, Symphonic Band and Jazz Band. Academic course offerings include Music Theory and Musical Theatre.
Performing groups perform, on average, once per trimester. Some groups, such as the Marching Band, Drill Team, Select Choir, and Jazz Band perform more extensively, in the community and at various competitions around California.
